Previously known as Teasdale & associates, the clinic has been in Brampton since 1990; in its current venue since 2002. Changing ownership from Mrs Julia Teasdale to Mrs Michelle Bailey in August 2023. The focus of this longstanding clinic of over 33 years has always been to focus on patient experience, health and happiness - none of which shall be changing for our remaining patients. We welcome patients old and new and hope to be able to provide a high standard of care for you and your feet.

Hello my name is Michelle! I own a Podiatry clinic in Brampton, Cumbria, previously known as Julia Teasdale & Associates, from August 2023.
My healthcare journey began as a Respiratory Physiology Assistant at Northumbria NHS Foundation Trust in 2009. Following which, I became a Student Podiatrist in 2013 attached to the same NHS trust. I then went on to complete a BSc (Hons) Podiatry degree at New College Durham in 2016.
My background in Podiatry is in Diabetes and Wound Care and I have previously worked for Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust; now known as North Cumbria Integrated Care as a Specialist Podiatrist.
I’m particularly interested in patient education surrounding Podiatry as my experience of being a patient is what drove me to become a Podiatrist in the first place.
I have also qualified as a Clinical Reflexologist, training for a Reflexology diploma through Professional Reflexology and I am a full registered member with the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
I have lived in Carlisle since 2018 with my husband Luke, my two wonderful children Noah and Phoebe and my cat Toby. I love badminton, long walks and spending time in the garden with the family. And (fun fact!) I’m very competitive and love doing board games and Escape rooms!

In 2006, chiropractor Howard Hughes and podiatrist Jennifer Spencer established Real Time Reception to help fellow health professionals concentrate on their clients and grow their businesses.
As busy practitioners, Howard and Jennifer knew the pressures of giving outstanding care whilst juggling enquiries, telephone calls and diary management. They were confident there was a better way!
With other health care professionals, they established a team helping physiotherapists, podiatrists, chiropractors, counsellors and similar professionals to focus on their clients – answering calls, converting new enquiries and booked appointments with their new call answering service. The clinic is proud to have Real Time Reception work alongside our Podiatrist to deliver a high standard of care and ensuring your calls/queries are handled as quickly and as smoothly as possible.
